Family Resource Centers are a great place for families with kids to connect for assistance. They typically have support in multiple languages. They have diaper banks, financial assistance, help with registration for DSHS and healthcare. Clients are typically referred based on the school district they attend. Pierce County United Way has relaunched their county support resource. It has navigators, AI assist and works to provide not just the emergency need but also help clients find additional resources to move them out of emergency need situations.
The Pierce County SFMNP website and has been updated with the latest program information and applications in Vietnamese, Samoan, Korean, Khmer, Spanish, Russian, and English.
